What present would you give to your sister who is getting married this weekend?
Wei Wei decided to engage Studio Asobi for a private clay workshop so that she and Wei Yin can spend a meaningful time together making something of their own!
Really impressed with their unique and beautiful hand-pinched vessels, borne out of their love for each other. It’s really a joy for me to be a part of this wonderful experience:)
Comments from Wei Wei:
“It was really fun spending time in Studio Asobi! From entering the space to having a lovely cup of tea and looking at the different pieces and techniques teacher Huiwen used, we had a wonderful and unforgettable evening. She was really patient with us and we were surprised by how we managed to create our final pieces with her guidance. Feeling the clay under your hands was therapeutic and awakened our senses:)”
On 15th Aug, I made my first attempt at collecting rain. Water is essential to making pottery and I thought what a lovely idea it would be to use actual rainwater! What better way to seal a captured moment of time and weather into my works?
After minutes of staring at my barely filled cup on the exposed ledge of my balcony, I figured that it was simply not efficient to collect rain in this manner.
