A Warm Welcome to Studio Asobi

Meaning of Asobi

Asobi (遊び)” means “play” in Japanese while “” translates to “journey” in Mandarin. 遊び心 (asobi kokoro) also means having an open heart.

We took to this name for our pottery studio in Singapore because we see life both as a journey of exploration, and also a joyful adventure.

We also believe that play is of great importance to the flourishing of the human soul, and it is an underrated state of mind that children and adults alike should engage in more often.

Let us find enjoyment together.
